Before 

You need to fast for minimum of 3 hours (no food or water) prior to your scheduled appointment

You are required to complete and sign a short Consent Form (signed during before making the appointment on our Contact Us page) before your hijama.

Please consult with your primary care physician if you have any medical conditions prior to hijama.

It is recommended to take a shower and be in a state of wudu (ablution).

"Narrated by Abdullah Ibn Az-Zubair, from Aisha; the Prophet used to perform ghusl for four things:

â–ª Major impurities
â–ª Jumuah (Friday prayers)
â–ª After washing the deceased
â–ª Cupping


Clients should wear comfortable clothes. Hijama is usually performed on the back.

Please consult with your primary care physician if you have any medical conditions prior to hijama. Drink plenty of water, green tea is a good option.

  • Rest for the first 24 hours after treatment.

  • Keep body warm; avoid exposure to wind, cold wet andamp conditions.

  • Avoid hot temperatures, baths, saunas, showers for 24, Avoid using 

    soap.

  • Avoid eating processed meat, dairy products fish and fish oils for 24 hours.

  • Apply blackseed oil or olive oil to the hijama scars.

  • Hijama scars may take 2-3 days to a week to heal, sometimes up to 2 weeks.

  • Avoid scratching.
